The hand-picked and hand-sorted grapes comprised 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot and 8% Malbec. The wine was aged for 19 months in 40% new French oak.

Mid to dark ruby red in colour, the wine presents aromas of black forest chocolate, dark cherry, cocoa powder, bay leaf, mulberry and pencil shavings.

A more full-bodied wine this vintage; juicy and concentrated black currant flavours with chocolate, chewy tannins, good balance and elegant acidity.

A wine that will cellar well for up to 20 years.
