2016 Cabernet Sauvignon
The hand-picked fruit comprised 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot and 1% Malbec, which was matured over 19 months in 40% new French oak. The nose displays black fruits and mulberry, complemented by tobacco, cocoa and cedar. The palate presents thick layers of ripe tannin, ripe mulberry, tobacco and dried mint, on a long, elegant finish. Drinking wonderfully at bottling, this wine will reward cellaring for many years to come.
