The hand-picked fruit was aged in 40% new French oak for 17 months. The wine is of deep red colour with purple hues. The nose provides aromas of cherry, earth and lifted aromatics of spice, with background cinnamon, lavender florals and dried mint. The palate is wonderfully complex and savoury, presenting a range of rich red fruits.
